Pintas Character is a product of the Wine & Soul project, done by Sandra Tavares and Jorge Serôdio Borges. It's huge quality comes from the use of old vines and it presents a complex nose, with black berry and cocoa notes. In the mouth, it explodes in black fruits and it is very structured, with tannins still present.

Quinta da La Rosa is one of the most visited quintas in the Douro, due to its location in the centre of the Douro valley in Pinhão. It has a very strong wine tourism project, with a beautiful restaurant and river view. The wines are excellent, especially the reds. However, this white manages to dazzle, with beautiful minerality, lightly smoked, with ripe citrus fruit and a fresh finish that just keeps getting better. A find for the price we were forced to put in our packs.

Perescuma is a company that manages a huge amount of land in the Alentejo and also produces wine. Signed by Manuel Lobo, this N.o1 Reserva is the estate's top-of-the-range wine. A wine of great impact on the nose and palate, with ripe black fruit and cocoa and full of flavour. It asks for strong flavoured dishes or a longer ageing period, as the tannins of the Cabernet Sauvignon are still noticeable in the
fiery finish.
