Fonseca is one of the most renowned Port wine brands, especially in the Vintage category. In classic years it is always among the best and, in the intermediate years, it declares as Fonseca Guimaraens which is considered its second brand. In these years it is also always one of the best with a quality close to that of the classic years but with the advantage of being sold at half price. This wine is typical of the “Fonseca” style, very generous in the ripe fruit of black and red berries, with notes of chocolate and slight mint. Creamy in the mouth, it gives an excellent tasting now or it can be kept for decades without problems.
