We want freshness and ease of consumption. However, there are still options of more complex wines for those who do not abdicate of them. In summary, another great selection that we are sure will please those who follow us.

Coelheiros

Herdade do Coelheiros is one of the Alentejo's strong names. After a slight fading in recent years, the new owners have brought new life and sparkle to the wines produced there. This red presents itself with black and forest fruits, some toast from the barrel in the mouth, but well balanced in a punchy and juicy wine in which the fruit commands the tasting.

Casa da Passarella "O Oenólogo" Encruzado

Casa da Passarella has been one of the most proactive producers in the Dão region in recent years. Several wines launched with great success among the critics and the most informed appreciators. This wine made from the white grape variety queen of the region expresses this success. Very fine aromas, some citrine and very complex due to the old vines used. Structured, good volume, with slight bitter ends giving it character. A find for the price.

Oboé Reserva Vinhas Velhas
Oboé Reserva Vinhas Velhas

Companhia de Vinhos do Douro despite being a somewhat discreet company it has good wines in its portfolio. Almost all of its wines have their name associated with a wind instrument. So, what music does this wine bring us? It is a blend of typical old Douro vines (between 30-50 years old), concentrated, ripe black fruits, with chocolaty notes from the barrel. Full-bodied but not pasty with good final freshness. A very good wine with an excellent price that will improve with some time in the bottle.
